I am looking forward to Friday Night. Bro. Marcus and Sis. Angela are planning a lot of fun things for this Lock-In. We will have a scavenger hunt, and a Wii Bowling tournament. There will be a lot of games. But the featured event is the video put out by Focus on the Family. It is part of the Life On The Edge (LOTE) series. The discussion in the video is titled "Keys to a Life Long Love."
I understand that the video is a bit old and the technology is out of date but the message in the video holds true and strong. Pastor Jeff started showing these videos a few years ago and we are about half way through the series for the third time. We show one of the videos every year at our Annual Youth Lock-In. I have seen each video in the set and can say with out a doubt that if our youth will listen to the message and put aside the fact that the video was made before they were born that they will learn a valuable lesson from them. Pastor Jeff has said before and I say now that I trust what Dr. Dobson has to say.
I pray that we have a good attendance, and we all have a lot of fun.
