The attendance for Sunday School has been a little lower than we would like for it to be. Pastor Jeff has expressed, in his own blog, that he is going to have a high attendance Sunday on April 17.
This is the One year anniversary of us moving into our new Sanctuary. This will be a big day for our Church. That being said, I want to encourage you to not wait for a 'special date' to start working on Building the Church.
Pastor Jeff has said many times that now that the physical building of our Church is finished that we need to build the REAL Church. What's that? You wonder what the real Church is, you thought that this big fancy building was the REAL Church? Well let me clear things up. The congregation is the REAL Church, it is the people. I pray that I am not the only other one who shares Pastor Jeff's burden for the church.
As a personal note to Pastor Jeff:
I want you know that I am IN, and I mean completely IN. I am IN as in I am Saved, I am IN as in I am willing to do what I can to help build the REAL Church, and I am IN as in I am going to keep building my relationship with God so that I can have more close ENCOUNTERS WITH GOD.
Now a note to everyone else:
If you want to let Pastor Jeff know that you are IN he is still wanting letters of your testimony, and you could also take the advice given in James 2:18
"...I will shew thee my faith by my works."
Lets show Pastor Jeff that we are IN by what we do around the community to build th REAL Church.
